JR19745 Senior Engineer (lead), NVEG PE (FDV)

**As a Product Engineer at Micron, you will be part of a forward-thinking team of engineers that solves complex problems, responsible for enabling Micron’s products with flawless and issue free release to both internal and external customers. Product Engineers are the key interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance departments.**:**The position is expected to lead efforts on the following team responsibilities which include but not limited to**:

- Design novel test algorithms and develop test program coverage for validating NAND features and commands
- Study and have sound understanding of the latest RG NAND designs and features, with focus on customer mode operations
- Use high-speed tester hardware to perform functional and design validation of new NAND devices, both using Deterministic and Random Sequence methodologies
- Perform Electrical Failure Analysis during the evaluations, and investigate root causes of reported device issues
- Make use of Verilog/Synopsis VCS for simulation study and analysis
- Collaborate with NAND Design, Application Engineering, NAND Product and System teams to drive closure of device issues
- Automation/optimization of program development and work processes

**Skills Requirement**:

- Keen interest in design validation
- 5 years and above experience in electrical/electronic/semiconductor engineering field, with at least 2 years experience in NAND related product, testing or design engineering work
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Software development proficiency (e.g. C-based programming) and scripting (e.g. Perl, Python)
- Simulation software know-how (e.g. Verilog, Synopsis VCS) is a plus
- Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
- Good multitasking and organizational skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm

Manages production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to high volume production. Interfaces with design, process, test and reliability engineering to solve problems. Sustains products with cost reduction and yield improvements.
