**Job Title: Menswear Cutter**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Fabric Preparation**:Prepare fabrics for cutting by ensuring they are properly laid out, aligned, and smoothed.
- **Pattern Interpretation**:Interpret and understand garment patterns to effectively plan cutting processes.
- **Precision Cutting**:Use cutting tools such as scissors, rotary cutters, or electric knives to accurately cut fabrics according to specified patterns, ensuring mínimal wastage.
- **Quality Control**:Inspect cut pieces for accuracy, identifying any flaws or discrepancies in fabric, and rectifying issues promptly.
- **Material Conservation**:Implement strategies to minimize fabric wastage and optimize material usage.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with designers, pattern makers, and other team members to ensure alignment with design specifications and production requirements.
- **Maintenance of Equipment**:Maintain cutting tools and equipment in good condition, performing regular checks and arranging for repairs or replacements as necessary.
- **Safety Compliance**:Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**:Proven experience as a Menswear Cutter or similar role in the fashion industry, with a strong understanding of fabric properties and cutting techniques.
- **Technical Skills**:Proficiency in using cutting tools such as scissors, rotary cutters, and electric knives, with the ability to execute precise cuts consistently.
- **Attention to Detail**:Keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in cutting fabrics.
- **Knowledge of Menswear**:Familiarity with menswear fashion trends, styles, and construction techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a menswear tailor, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in all aspects of garment construction, including pattern drafting, cutting, sewing, and finishing techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision, with the ability to produce flawless garments tailored to exact measurements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
