Portfolio Delivery Manager

**Job Function: Software & Cloud Services The role**:
Collaborate closely with the Head of PMO to address blocking issues and critical customer concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Works to develop and implement standard methodologies, processes, and toolsets for effective portfolio/project management, and helps educate staff on standard methodologies and effective project execution.
Manages and demonstrates the life cycle of a wide range of cross departmental initiatives, investments, programs, projects, and outcomes to efficiently achieve enterprise goals and objectives.
Recalibrates the portfolio as vital when the demands of the business decide a change delivery or scope of work.
Collaborates with Project Intake Team to complete the processes of reviewing new requests, assessing project priority, and making go / no-go recommendations to Executive Steering Committee.
Coordinates with Head of PMO on management of large strategic initiatives.
Works with the leadership team, department directors and project business sponsors to provide a comprehensive overview of projects.
Partners with the PMO on project requests, processes and procedures through project completion including projects specifically handled by PMO/PMs.
Provides oversight to program and project managers within the portfolio and quality assurance ensuring that initiatives are being well handled and adhering to appropriate standards and good practice; develops and facilitates regular portfolio performance review presentations for Executive Steering Committee.
Leads all aspects of change control and risk oversight.
Develops an overall understanding of each initiative in the portfolio to understand the potential customer impact and service requirements generated by each initiative in the portfolio.
Assist in uplifting PMO Maturity Model aligning to SWO and Industry standard practices.
**What we need to see from you**:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, computer science, engineering management or other related field, master’s degree preferred.
Experience in information systems, cyber security or architecture
Minimum 7 years of experience in portfolio, program and/or project management with a successful project management track record in full life cycle information technology implementation projects, with consistent record of execution to time and budget.
**Certifications**: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
Demonstrated use of proven program / project management practices and tools, including excellent MS Office skills (ServiceNow preferred).
Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure
Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
Ability to exercise good judgment in making critical decisions
Ability to analyze, coordinate and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
