SM2 Consulting are representing a European HVAC company who are looking for a General Manager SEA in the region. Key to the success will be the scalability and growth of the business across South East Asia.
The General Manager with be reporting to the CEO of the region whom is based in Hong Kong.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for annual business objective and financial results.
- Talent management focusing on employee engagement and driving company value.
- Identify and develop career path for high performance staffs.
- Develop and manage all operating systems involved in manufacturing operations, facilities and engineering.
- Develop safety management in operation to ensure workplace safety for all employee
- Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; and enforcing ethical business practices.
- Increases management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; cultivating a climate for offering information and opinions and providing educational opportunities.
- Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities, presenting analysis, and recommending objectives.
- Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; etc.
- Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; and coordinating actions with corporate staff.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Performance management
- Staffing
- Master / Bachelor’s Degree with at least 20 years relevant working experience in manufacturing, in which at least 10 years relevant experience in senior management and with a proven track record managing mass production.
- Experience in HVAC (or similar manufacturing processes) is preferred.
- Strong in Production and Operations Management.
- Mature and proactive personality with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skill
