**Primary Roles**
- Perform any disassembly, assembly and testing work for equipment and tools.
- Able to collect information (Photos of equipment during disassembly, assembly & testing) for preparation of inspection reports and final assembly reports etc.
- Able to take measurement using process instrument for parts, component, and record in assembly process documents.
- Preparation of part list once the inspection is completed for submission to workshop foreman.
- Ensure all products are assemble using the correct parts / components per “Bill of Material”
- Check parts received from warehouse and provide feedback to workshop foreman if discrepancy found.
- Able to perform any rigging, lifting and forklift operation.
- Work with competency assessor and complete competency assignment.
- Ensure equipment, tools, work area are maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
- Fill up equipment / component tracability record, all applicable D9 documents and QP for the QP for the job assigned and submit to workshop foreman for review.

**Secondary Roles**:

- Provide update in job tracker / Rig office
- Prepare inspecition or final assembly report when assigned by supervisor.

**Empowerment**:

- Accept or reject the quality of work performed by vendors or any new parts supplied from warehouse with non conformance.
- Stop any unsafe activities that may result in potential work injuries.

**Job Requirements**:

- NTC/NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in heavy machinery environment especially in hydraulics and pneumatics
- Able to read technical drawings in order to assemble machine parts
- Preferably a valid class 3 driving license to facilitate inter-shipyard work
- Good written and communication skills
- Forklift license is highly desirable.
