Our client, one of world’s largest financial services institutions is looking for:
**Application Developer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Build cutting edge pricing engines to improve the firm’s capabilities in trading and risk management of cross asset derivative products
- Profile & optimize the efficiency of our models & systems
- To sit on trading floor and work closely with traders and quants in delivering software components
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams who support underlying infrastructure
- Involve in delivery of end to end software development life cycle
- Investigate and resolve SIT and UAT defects

**Requirements**:

- A good degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required
- Both fresh & experienced applicants are welcomed
- Strong programming skills in one object-oriented language (e.g. C#, C++, Python) is required
- Knowledge of relational databases is required
- Working experience in distributed computing (AWS, Microservice, API, Redis, Linux) is a big plus
- Experience of source control, continuous integration and profiling tools is preferred
- Knowledge in financial engineering is a plus
- Prefer to have API/Microservice dev experience-
