Leadership: Supervises and provides technical guidance to 5 Control System Engineers to perform their job more effectively and efficiently

Reliability: Maintains, designs, reviews Honeywell Experion System to enable reliable and efficient operations with no/mínimal production loss due to control system deficiency. Works closely with Operations & DCS vendor to troubleshoot DCS recipe issues and suggest short term and long-term fixes

Collaboration: This role will have a global influence within the different Oronite facilities, be able to work with and share knowledge / best practices with others, be a Regional Process Advisor for the Global Process Control Value collaboration network and be able to influence the shaping plans for life cycle management of the process control systems

Process Control Network Security: Works with IT to identify Process Control Network (PCN) security risks for existing and new PCN Systems to comply with Chevron Information Risk Management (IRM) Standards and implement safeguards to prevent Cybersecurity events and mitigate its impact.

Instruments & Valves: Supports maintenance department in installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of field instrumentation and control valves.

Budget: Develops department operating budget and accountable for maintaining the expenditures within this budget

Capital Projects: Supports Major Capital Project and ensures adequate resources for a safe and successful project execution of the Control System scope of work.

Job Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics, Instrumentation and Control or Chemical from an accredited university- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in DCS in the refinery, petrochemical or chemical industry- Knowledge and work experience in Honeywell DCS System (TPS, EPKS, TPB, EB, C300, HPM controller) is preferred- Knowledge in programming and network administration is an added advantage- Experience in managerial role will be an added advantage- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills- Good interpersonal and communication skills- Good leadership and team work
