Position Overview

The Autodesk Developer Enablement Team enables internal and external developers to seamlessly integrate Autodesk solutions across Desktop and the Web. We are seeking a motivated Principal Software Engineer to join us in Singapore and be a part of our journey in building the next-generation platform.

You will be part of a team of diverse, smart, and driven engineers. You will be responsible for leading, architecting, designing, building, owning, and delivering various components, services, and frameworks, while collaborating with teams across multiple locations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, build, test and release desktop clients, components, and web services
- Expertise in building plugin-based architecture
- Align with team goals that connect to the wider organization's goals
- Mentor, guide, and collaborate with other team members across geos

Minimum Qualifications
- 8-12 years of software engineering experience
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
- Technology stack: C++/Java/C#/AWS for desktop/web development
- Ability to multi-task between complex projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Enjoys working collaboratively in a team with high trust
- Experience with Scrum and agile processes will be a bonus
- Familiarity with secure engineering practices
- Cross-platform development experience with Windows, Mac and Linux will be a bonus
- You have a passion to lead
- You understand what it takes to build and support business critical desktop clients, components, frameworks, and web services
- You have a passion for programming, CI/CD and automation
- You are customer oriented, and drive towards addressing customer pain points
- You believe in taking initiative, ownership and driving towards high standards
