We are looking for Cashier/Sales Assistant to join our team.

As a Bakery Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they have a pleasant experience from the moment they walk in.

Your primary responsibilities will include the following:

- handling transactions
- managing the cash register
- providing exceptional customer service.

You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the cashier area, restocking items, and assisting with other bakery tasks as needed.

**Responsibilties**:

- Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
- Restock bakery items and supplies as needed.
- Assist with packaging and labeling bakery products.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Ensure the accuracy of prices and quantities on the cash register.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Collaborate with bakery staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the manager.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Provide product recommendations and information to customers.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Support other bakery tasks as needed.

**Requirements**:

- NITEC, Higher Nitec, Diploma and above.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Team player with a willingness to assist others.
- Knowledge of bakery products is a plus.
- Ability to handle customer complaints professionally.
- Basic computer skills for operating the cash register.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $1,800.00 per month

Expected hours: 5 - 9 per week
