**Job Overview**:
Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supplies and resources required for maintaining and operating bunkers or secure storage facilities. This role involves ensuring the availability of essential items, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining inventory levels while adhering to budget constraints.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and source suppliers for various bunker-related supplies, including food, water, medical supplies, power systems, security equipment, and other essential resources.
- Conduct market research to identify reliable suppliers, assess product quality, and obtain competitive pricing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and contracts to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine bunker operational requirements and align purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Prepare purchase orders and review requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain a well-organized system for tracking stock levels, usage, and replenishment needs.
- Manage the procurement process, from order placement to delivery, and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the process.
- Work closely with financial and accounting teams to ensure proper documentation and payment processing for purchased items.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry innovations, and regulatory changes that may impact bunker supplies and procurement strategies.
- Contribute to the development of contingency plans and emergency response strategies related to bunker operations.
- Optimize purchasing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with security and safety personnel to ensure that all purchased items meet necessary quality and safety standards.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, inventory levels, and cost analysis for management review.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a similar role involving specialized facilities like bunkers or secure storage.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with emergency preparedness and security protocols is a plus.
