As a member of our family-owned business, you will be responsible for the Controlling function for the Asia Pacific Region and will report into the Head of Controlling. The Asia Pacific Controlling function supports the Management and Business Units closely in relation to financial planning, reporting and analysis, optimising financial position for the Company and reviewing of new opportunities. As Senior Controller, you will:

Your new job includes
- be responsible for HAP Group Consolidation and HAP entity reporting by reviewing month-end closing processes while ensuring accuracy and submission in a timely manner.
- manage and monitor HAP Group Cashflow and Balance Sheet for HAP Group to have a sustainable working capital and healthy Balance Sheet position, similarly looking at HAP Management Fees to establish an effective Cost Allocation methodology.
- independently partner with Budget Owners to provide timely analysis of sales/margins and discuss variances, as well as profitability of their respective businesses whilst effectively collaborating prepare action plans, to meet the financial expectations of APAC region.
- establish APAC financial dashboard together with Head of Controlling to provide high visibility of financial performance to relevant stakeholders to drive company’s efficiency and profitability; in addition to managing APAC reporting processes including monthly forecasts, management presentations, business reviews.
- evaluate business and reporting processes, KPIs and trends to drive business performance and efficiencies, monitor budget and provide an in-depth financial analysis.
- support Change Management efforts and provide appropriate support to the Executive Committee in making financial decisions for the Region.

What you should bring along
- a Degree in Finance or Accounting or any equivalent qualification with at least seven years of relevant experience.
- a strong and confident communicator with ability to independently manage stakeholders.
- a sound business and financial acumen with the ability to analyse and evaluate data, providing reliable and accurate insights and recommendation to the business.
- has a collaborative mind-set and the ability to business partner with various Leaders and Budget Owners within the business.
- is meticulous, detail-oriented and has an analytical approach in delivering results while also taking initiative and certain decisions independently.
