Canaan Creative is looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical, Materials Manager with demonstrated experience driving process improvement.

This individual will be responsible for leading the materials department; manage the company procurement plan, raw material procurement plan, and sales delivery. Materials Management is critical to protecting manufacturing capacity and delivering the end product to our customers at the right time.

**Job Description
Leading the materials department
- Manage, coach and develop a high-performing team that meets company objectives.
- Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals.
- Responsible for the supply chain management of the factories located in China and Singapore.
- Value creation (cost and cash savings), including stock optimization and implementation of savings projects.
- Lead projects in identified areas of intervention (savings, technical, cost structure, relationships, management.

Strategic procurement Plan
- Develop the company's master production plan in line with the company's strategy.
- Work out production plans for BTO and BTS based on the delivery method of the complete machine.
- Participate in the project management of the whole machine from NPI to MP.

Sales Delivery and Logistics Management
- To provide short, medium and long-term assurance of responsible material supply by ensuring adequate capacity and establishing a robust supply chain.
- Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations.
- Work with Suppliers, Global Supply Managers, Sourcing Managers and internal customers to coordinate purchase order changes as well as coordination for delivery.
- Manage supplier/production performance as it relates to on-time equipment delivery.
- Manage supplier/production lead times and drive them to meet Canaan business requirements.
- Responsible for the management of the company's global logistics to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop analytical reports to deliver information to business partners and stakeholders that support improved decision-making and on-time deliveries. This includes developing the mechanisms to identify upstream blockers to Purchase order communication to suppliers.

**Job Requirement**
- BSc or above in Engineering or related.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement management in the electronics/semiconductor industry with 5+ years of experience in managing the planning and procurement-related teams.
- Proven resource supplier of aluminum profiles, heat dissipation, PCB, sheet metal, etc.
- Familiar with logistics operating in Asia and the USA is a must.
- 10+ years of working experience in supply chain ERP, WMS, MES and other systems.
- Strong communication skills, good at learning, ability to complete challenging tasks and strong resistance to pressure.
- Strong team management experience, able to create a positive team atmosphere and lead the team to achieve work objectives。
- Bilingualor multilingual are required to deal with non-English speaking.
- Up to 40% Travel required
