**Position Summary**

Independently develop hull design including hull outfit to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within assigned schedule.

**Tasks and **Responsibilities**
- Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawing and document according to project plan schedule.
- Liaise with Owner/ Vendor for the specific design requirement
- Liaise with Class Society to determine the detailed design requirement and provide economical technical solution from experience.
- Perform naval architecture calculations such as stability/hydrostatic, weight distribution, launching
- Perform FE analysis using FEMAP
- Perform structural calculation, rudder calculation and design
- Perform technical evaluation of hull outfitting equipment such as deck cranes, winches etc
- Prepare arrangement & detail structure drawings and outfitting drawings.
- Prepare detailed compartment layouts, space coordination and integration with other disciplines.=
- Liaise with other discipline designers for design proposal and solution.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors for interpretation of the drawings and specifications.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry Hull & Outfitting newbuilding engineering design.
- Familiar with AutoCAD/ MS Office/GHS/NAPA/FEMAP
- Good communication, analytical skills, technologies savvy
