**Job Description**:
To ensure that the MUFG Fund Services (Singapore) Limited’s (“MUFG Singapore”) Compliance function has appropriate and relevant people, processes, and systems to contribute to the achievement of the Groups business goals in a rapidly changing regulatory environment.
- Monitor and advise the business on internal policies and procedures ensuring they remain relevant and compliant with the applicable legislation and regulatory requirements through periodic compliance testing.
- Oversee the timely completion of the MUFG Compliance Monitoring Programs (“CMPs”) ensuring that the internal policies and procedures are being consistently and effectively adhered to.
- Act as a SME and point of contact/escalation for AML and regulatory compliance issues
- Assist with the development of and completion of the AML / CTF / CPF and Regulatory Compliance Business Risk Assessments and wider Business Risk Assessment and working collectively with MUFG Compliance peers where warranted.
- Ensure appropriate reporting and recording of Incidents including regulatory breaches, errors, and complaints and promptly instigate action to remedy any deficiencies in the compliance arrangements and ensuring they are reported internally and externally (where required) in a timely manner.
- Prepare and deliver reporting to the Board of Directors / Compliance Committee / Chief Compliance Officer / Deputy Chief Compliance Officer as appropriate per internal protocol and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements to ensure MUFG Group is in line with requirements and operate effectively. Review and advise the business on the mapping of the global regulatory requirements.
- Promote and ensure there is a clear compliance culture is always adopted and upheld by the business. This includes the coordination, roll out and full participation in compliance initiatives such as training, where applicable
- Support local and group Heads of Business in the delivery of their goals by providing trusted advice and support.
- Any Ad-hoc projects as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Education Requirements**
- Relevant undergraduate degree or other third level qualification is preferred
- Currently have a formal qualification in Compliance e.g., ACAMS or AML

**Work Experience**
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in financial services, with a minimum of 2-3 years being in a senior Compliance role in the Fund services Industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Fund Administration and related business.

**Functional/Technical Skills and Knowledge Requirements**
- Excellent knowledge of fund administration / banking / trustee regulations
- Previous experience in regulatory compliance and CDD / AML / KYC
- Microsoft Office skills
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of Singapore financial services laws, regulations, and codes. Understanding of EU, US, Cayman Islands, Australia and Bermuda regulatory environment an advantage.
- Ability to read Chinese characters an advantage
