Usv Pilot

**Sulmara Subsea**
- Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of navigation during all USV operations
- Preparing project documentation with Project Manager
- Ensure that the USV equipment is fully functional and report any defects
- Maintain logs during operations
- Conduct USV maritime operations Risk Assessment
- Planning, preparing and exporting Passage plans to the USVs
- Assisting the Project Manager and Survey Team with the survey mission planning
- Mobilisation and maintenance support
- Comply with Company safety rules and training, conduct operations safely and report any unsafe condition or practices immediately.
- Adhere strictly to the Company's procedures and policies
- Perform any other delegated duties or tasks as instructed by your Line Manager

Skills Requirements:
- Good understanding of maritime regulations
- Good communication skills
- Genuine interest in maritime autonomy and future technologies
- Willing to travel internationally as required by the project
- Must have basic knowledge of computer skills, major survey equipment manufacturer’s software and equipment.

**Job Requirement**
- Experience, Competency and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a USV Pilot
- Solid experience as a Hydrographic Surveyor with RYA/ICC Yachtmaster Offshore/Ocean Cert
- Previously worked in DP1 / DP 2 Officer roles
- Yacht Crew with RYA/ICC Yachtmaster Offshore/Ocean Cert
- Must have or be able to obtain all industry required certificates to work offshore
- Must be able to obtain a valid passport and/or visas to travel internationally
