This is a newly created role within the Corporate Finance function reporting to Vice President, Group Tax to support the Group’s regional and international growth plans. You will work closely with the local finance teams and Business Units (“BUs”) to support the Group’s tax strategies in areas of direct, indirect, transfer pricing and withholding tax matters.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide tax support to BUs on structuring, funding, profit repatriation, cross border issues for M&A transactions, acquisitions, divestments, JVs etc.
- Provide advice and assistance to local Finance team and BUs on tax related matters / queries
- Review transfer pricing documentation, intercompany recharges methodology and analysis
- Work closely with finance teams, external tax advisors to be jointly responsible for managing tax compliance and controversy for all entities in the group
- Assist in preparation of annual tax budget and track compliance
- Track new tax developments, evaluate implications to existing and future businesses
- Simplify group structure to optimize corporate structures
- Coordinate communications with external stakeholders, including tax authorities, tax advisors and auditors

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accounting/ Finance and/or professional qualification (i.e. ACCA, CPA, SCTP)
- At least 7 years of corporate income tax compliance and advisory experience gained in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or industry
- Experience with regional and international tax experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and technical skills, meticulous and hands on with attention to detail
- Team player who also has the ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good written and spoken communication / interpersonal skills
- Results-oriented and problem-solving attitude as well as strong organizational skills
- Pro-active, resilient, resourceful, creative and operate with the highest level of integrity and professionalism
