**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years working experience with hands on knowledge of preparing cost estimates
- ITE/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Able to work independently and a team player in a multi-tasking environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent spoken and written communication skills, need to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment may need to liase with Chinese speaking clients.
- Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication industry or machining industry.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- prepare detailed cost estimations with labour, material, manufacturing costs;
- study customer's requirements, liaise with customer and conceptualize design;
- Follow up on quotations and secure orders;
- Develop design drawings and material list;
- Identify the best production method with production supervisors to maximize productivity for each project;
- Review processes and engineering techniques to improve quality, yield and cycle time;
- Coordinate & participate with internal and external stakeholders to address clarifications/negotiations and review of designs/manufacturing/sourcing methods to optimize costs
- Undertake projects as and when assigned by the company;
**Experience/Technical Knowledge**

**-**Knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and Solid works
- Knowledge in MS Office
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical journals
