**Responsibilities
- M&A Strategy, Origination, Deal Structuring, Financial Analysis and Due Diligence
- Constant scan of existing and adjacent sectors to identify suitable acquisition opportunities worldwide, particularly in emerging economies in Africa, South Asia, Central Asia and East Europe.
- Valuations, Investor meetings, Presentations and Negotiations, Deal Closure
- Managing and expanding a strong network of bankers, corporate advisors and lawyers
- Monitoring industry trends and performance of portfolio companies
- Management reporting and presentations.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Business/Finance/Engineering from reputed institutions.
- CA or MBA (Finance)
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in driving and managing M&A initiatives within corporate planning/M&A teams of large corporates
- Strong buy-side investment experience, especially in mid
- to large-scale manufacturing sector
- Regional/global exposure preferred. Exposure to at least one of the geographical regions mentioned above.
- Ability to handle complete M&A cycle from origination to execution.
- Ability to work independently assisted by a lean team, external consultants and service providers.
- Hands-on. Entrepreneurial and adaptable. Cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel globally, as required, including countries in Africa, South Asia, East Europe and other emerging economies.
