**Job Description**:
**Our Client**:
Our client is a global company specializes in the production and distribution of gases and related services operating in sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, etc. In addition to gas production and distribution, they offer a comprehensive range of services to support its customers.

They are currently seeking a Plant Operations Engineer for their operations team.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Provide support for ensuring the operational readiness of the new plant, including conducting walkdowns and punch listing, participating in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, and preparing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and routine schedules
- Take the lead in guiding the operations shift team during P&ID walkdowns, and contribute to the development and review of operating procedures
- Coordinate accordingly for walkdown activities, discuss action items, and ensure their timely completion
- Collaborate with the Training Manager to facilitate training and competency development for the operations team
- Lead the participation of the operations team in Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and pre-commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot issues and processes as necessary, both in routine operations and during outages by planning and coordinating with the Maintenance Department
- Optimize plant operations by evaluating critical operational processes and identifying key areas to improve operational effectiveness
- Prepare tasks for Plant Turnaround and coordinate associated activities

**The Requirements**:

- Chemical Engineering and possess a minimum of 10 years of operating experience in large-scale complex plants, with a preference for the Refinery, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical Industry
