**Rate**: $15-$20/hour

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Permanent Part-Time Chinese Language Teacher (Freelancer) to join our team. This position requires a long-term commitment and weekend availability to cater to our students' schedules. As a teacher, you will be responsible for conducting in-person lessons, guiding students with their homework, and fostering a positive learning environment. You will be teaching primary and secondary students following the Singapore syllabus. Familiarity with the PSLE and O-level syllabus is a plus.

**Responsibilities**:
**In-Person Teaching**:

- Conduct engaging and interactive in-person lessons.
- Teach English and Chinese to primary and secondary students, following the Singapore syllabus (PSLE & O Level syllabus)

**Homework Guidance**:

- Provide guidance and support to students on their homework assignments.
- Assist students in understanding and completing their homework effectively.

**Student Interaction**:

- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Engage with students to enhance their learning experience and build their confidence.

**Curriculum Familiarity**:

- Be well-versed in the Singapore primary and secondary school syllabus.
- (Bonus) Familiarity with the PSLE and O-level syllabus is highly desirable.

**Weekend Availability**:

- Must be available to work on weekends to accommodate students' schedules.

**Long-Term Commitment**:

- Must be able to commit for the long term till end of academic year

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in English and Chinese.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a supportive and motivating learning environment.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
