Involved in and provide technical expertise related to coastal protection and inland drains
To join a team in helping to develop solutions for coastal protection and/or flood mitigation.
To join the team looking at habitat restoration ideas, coastal erosion protection, ABC waters solutions and general flood protection.
To prepare reports leading with the team on engineering related topics.
To present technical content on drainage and coastal engineering to the clients with the project managers.
The position will be part of an existing, dynamic team of multi-discipline members working on cutting-edge projects for the Singapore Government related to protecting Singapore from future sea level rise and storm events.
The Senior will lead a number of junior engineers on various topics within the team under the supervision of the team lead and project managers.
The Senior Engineer position is expected to be offered the chance to develop a career path within the organization in the future offering promotional opportunities
Degree in Engineering/Science in Civil / Environmental/ Water /Coastal with emphasis in hydrology/hydraulics, water resources or related field.
Min 4 years of relevant domain knowledge and experience in drainage, flood resiliency, or coastal works.
Good understanding of pluvial, fluvial, and/or coastal environment.
Experience and knowledge in hydro informatics, various 1D-2D flood modelling software, coastal modeling tools (QGIS, ArcGIS), will be an added advantage.
