**Job Purpose**

Package designers help to meet marketing needs by creating attractive packaging for products using creative software and sketches. Strong interpersonal skills are often necessary, because package designers work with business professionals to create cost-effective packaging that meets consumer demands. They may also work with copywriters, marketing experts and other designers to ensure that packaging meets branding requirements and suits target consumers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for all packaging & material design for all and affliated brands under The Company including day to day needs.
- Leads the design process for packaging materials for products, including brainstorming, sketching and creating prototypes.
- Design and create packaging assets (both structural and graphic), ensure packaging is functionally viable, visually appealing and cost effective that communicate the right brand, quality and price perception.
- Collaborates with marketing and R&D teams, especially graphic designers and copywriters, to create eye-catching designs within timeline ; work closely with photography team etc.
- Presents designs using sketches and design software; ensures successful representation of company's brands.
- Prepare packaging layout / guideline to facilitate printing operation and workflow.
- Assist in-store products / packaging display to enhancing products appeal.
- Research of latest packaging trends & new material insights.

**Requirement**:

- Diploma / Degree in a relevant graphic/industrial design/packaging design or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in MS office, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically illustrator and photoshop),
- Good understanding and able to balance product packaging needs, including ecological, economical, structural and visual a
- Excellent attention to detail and keen eye for aesthetics.
- Able to multi-task, ability to work under tight timeline.
- Highly motivated and self driven individual. Support team in product innovation to creatively shape new experience strategies.
- Able to converse in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients / partners.
