**Senior CDD Analyst**

As part of our regional growth, we are looking for a Senior CDD Analyst to join our APAC Underwriting Team, based in Singapore. As the link between commercial and compliance teams, you will be responsible for reviewing prospects and existing merchants. As a financial institution, we adhere to local rules and regulations and make sure we grow our business sustainably, in a fast and compliance manner. You will work very closely with internal (compliance, monitoring, legal, product teams) and external stakeholders (merchants, regulators). You will also help to facilitate our growth by scaling internal processes and focusing on continuous optimization of the processes and automation of the tools.

**What you'll do**
- **Work with strategic merchants in the region** - Perform risk assessment of complex customers and complex setups, assess the merchants in terms of their business model risks, country risk, AML risk, compliance risk.
- **Data driven monitoring** - screening performance and time with a metrics-driven approach to ensure the optimum balance between controls and positive user experience.
- **Work with internal stakeholders across the organization - **support and train colleagues in the KYC & CDD, build close relationships with internal (compliance, legal, commercial) stakeholders.
- **Work with strategic merchants in the region** - Perform risk assessment of complex customers and complex setups, assess the merchants in terms of their business model risks, country risk, AML risk, compliance risk.
- **Focus on automation and scalability** - work together with the teams to execute on the requirements in an efficient operational way, handle friction, ensure scalability of solutions and ensure continuous compliance.
- **Coordination and initiative** - prepare for partner audits, prepare responses to the regulators and rely the information to to quickly address questions and ensure seamless continuation of business.
- **Collaboration with global teams** - collaborate with the CDD teams globally to ensure global alignment and cohesive work between the team members.
- **Subject matter expert on AML, compliance and merchant onboarding** - keeping abreast of the latest trends and changes.

**Who you are**
- At least 6 years of experience in payments, KYC, CDD, AML.
- You are a** strong communicator** who has deep experience dealing with deescalations and dealing with clients in high pressure situations
- You are **comfortable with data** and using a data-driven approach when speaking with stakeholders.
- You enjoy working in a **fast-paced environment** where you may need to quickly shift priorities.
- You take initiative, ownership and are **committed to challenge the status quo.**:
