**About our client**:Our client is a leading infrastructure development and investment company. They advocate for more significant private sector investment in infrastructure across South and South East Asia by providing funding and development expertise.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Head, Technical and Implementation, and working as an integral member of project teams, the Manager, Technical & Implementation is responsible for oversight and guidance in undertaking assessment, planning, documentation, design, tendering, contracting, and construction of infrastructure facilities across South Asia and South East Asia which the company is mandated to operate in. Key responsibilities include

(1) Ensuring all related project risk management, procurement, planning, design, specification, tendering, contracting, and contract management activities are executed on time and in accordance with international standards for quality, environmental protection, social impact, and health and safety and;
(2) Documentation and specification of requirements for compliance by consultants and works contractors with the IFC Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability, including with respect to occupational health and safety.

**About you**:
(a) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputable university; Master’s degree in similar or related disciplines would be advantageous;
(b) 10 to 15 years of experience with project assessment, design and construction management and/or O&M management, relevant to infrastructure works in Asia, preferably in one or more of the mandate countries of the company;
(c) Experience and expertise with multi-disciplinary engineering or infrastructure projects (preferably renewable energy, water supply, waste management, logistics and/or agriculture supporting infrastructure) is strongly preferred;
(d) Familiarity with the IFC Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability, particularly with respect to HSES management in developing countries and hands-on experience with the documentation and specification of such requirements for compliance by consultants and works contractors;
(e) Ability to track and analyze project budgets and company financial statements, with demonstrated experience in achieving financial goals and expense budgets;
(f) Highly proficient in both oral and written English. Proficiency in one or more of the regional languages in one of the countries where the company is mandated to work is a plus;
(g) Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project;
(h) Strong appreciation and passion for PIDG and organization's mandate with a strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment essential.
