Position Title: Quality Manager, Screening, R&C Managed Services

Reports to: Associate Director, R&C Managed Services

Dow Jones is looking for a Quality Manager to join our R&C Managed Services team responsible for ensuring quality, effectiveness and overall efficiency of procedures and policies across all projects undertaken by the R&C Managed services team. As a Quality Manager, you will also be responsible for managing a team of Quality Analysts. The Quality Manager and team have a support function and are expected to operate independently and objectively at any given time. You will work closely with your peers and your team of Quality Analysts, ensuring we meet our client requirements in terms of accuracy and timeliness.

You Will
- Review and develop name screening workflows with an aim to improve process efficiency.
- Streamline processes by identifying trends and patterns.
- Hire, train, motivate and coach employees to provide attentive, efficient service to customers while achieving project deadlines.
- Provide system automation solutions and strategies to manage data efficiently while controlling risk.
- Monitor effectiveness of quality and operational procedures, identify gaps and provide recommendations and execute accordingly. Reframe problems to identify root causes.
- Ensure the continuous update of the methodology changes and guidelines applicable to the quality review. Provide specific training to the team to have the information up do date and keep the team motivated to achieve the expected productivity
- Provide regular feedback to Associate Director, R&C Managed Services, fellow managers and data analysts to enhance the risk review procedures.
- Perform Quality Control reviews of alerts and reports for completeness, accuracy to ensure these are decided in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory expectations.
- Prepare dashboards and present accurate and professional reporting to management and clients as required.
- Ensure that the team members strictly adhere to the Dow Jones’ and client’s policies & procedures.
- Contribute to both team and product-initiated projects

You Have
- Proficiency in Data Analytics, Excel Knowledge including VBA/Macros, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Advanced Formulas (arrays, lookups, logical, reference, and text functions), Excel Integration and Optimization
- Excellent English writing skills
- A professional attitude in client facing environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with senior management as well as team members and peer groups
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment with strict tight deadlines
- An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity

Preferred
- Familiar with AML typologies, experience with name (or transaction) screening in banking environment
- Previous experience with Factiva, Dow Jones Risk and Compliance (or similar products)
- Strong problem solving ability coupled with the ability make decisions autonomously
