**A Snapshot**
As the Director of Energy Transition, reporting to the Head of Energy & Climate, you will make your mark in a number of ways:

- Lead the delivery of a strategic decarbonisation project to unlock new data centre capacity in one of AirTrunk's core markets.
- Own the development of a green hydrogen project in Singapore with key regional infrastructure partners as part of a consortium (in advanced stage with feasibility work completed, MOUs signed and initial government engagement completed)
- Lead delivery of Transition to net zero strategy with 24/7 carbon-free energy as per roadmap, including public thought leadership and awareness, partnership development (incl commercial firming options), capability development and customer engagement

Working with the major global internet and technology companies you will make a substantial difference in how we source and use energy, deploy ground-breaking infrastructure and achieve our net zero and sustainability targets.
**Your Day to Day**
- Negotiate and implement a carbon project in official cooperation with government partners in a 'first-of-its-kind' transaction in Southeast Asia
- Manage S$10m budget for delivery of project in the next 12-18 months
- Identify and develop strategic energy infrastructure investment and contracting opportunities (incl. Infra-scale such as large-scale BESS or co-located renewable projects). Build cases and work with Design and Customer teams on feasibility and project development. Develop and leverage external partnerships (incl. Macquarie Group)
- Identify and lead AirTrunk engagement opportunities for net zero vis-à-vis industry bodies (SBTi, Carbon Pledge, Carbon Call etc) and regulators to advance AirTrunk's approach to net zero as a standard in the hyperscale data centre industry
- Engage with energy solution providers and partners to develop energy solution options to resolve customer requirements (24/7 renewable offering, firming offers, hourly matching capabilities, on-site technology deployment etc)
- Engage with AirTrunk teams including Design, Commercial, and Corporate Development to validate and integrate energy solutions into technical and commercial business requirements and support critical initiatives
- Develop briefing materials for the Executive group and Board on central initiatives (carbon project, green hydrogen project, progress on Transition to NetZero etc)

**Requirements**:

- 5-7 years of relevant experience e.g. decarbonisation projects, net zero targets and roadmaps, carbon-free energy sourcing, carbon offset projects, energy storage, energy case analysis
- Ability to develop and present critical initiatives to senior executives and investors
- Strong understanding of utility and electricity markets (especially Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia)
- Good understanding of global climate and carbon initiatives
- Strong analytical thinking and comfortable with data analysis and presentation (especially in PowerPoint and Excel)
- High level of motivation and collaboration in role
