**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible to provide MS SQL Server, Oracle Database administration and support for projects/clients.
- Create, document, and implement standards and/or complex modelling to monitor and enhance the capacity and performance of the database.
- Manage, design, and implement database backup and recovery procedure for database recovery. Implement monitoring for database backup.
- Manage and configure the database backup and day to day operations.
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- 3-5 years’ database administration experience of MS SQL Server & support on Windows/Azure environment.
- 3-5 years’ database administration experience of Oracle RDBMS & support on Solaris & Linux environment.
- 1-2 years’ database experience in installation, configuration, and setup MS SQL HADR AG Failover Cluster instances & Peer-peer Replication.
- Knowledge or/and experience on Oracle Exadata, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB & Cloud DB Environment models (DBaaS) will be an advantage.
- Experience on Oracle & MS SQL Server database security hardening, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and a commitment to maintain optimum database system availability for customer.
- Strong customer focus with emphasis on commitment to continuous improvement in database system availability and performance
- Ability to work independently and exemplify good working integrity in a team.
