We are looking for a Senior Application Support Specialist to join our Professional Services team in Singapore. This role works in a close, collaborative manner with System Librarians, Cloud Operations, and Product teams to provide the highest levels of customer service to Innovative customers. If you are a Database Administrator or Database Engineer with a strong SQL background, we would like to speak to you.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant education background-
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in SQL Development for creating, editing, and maintaining SQL functionality primarily in the relational database platform. Our software contains an SQL-driven tool to provide vital business management information to customers-
- Understanding of XML, HTML, TCP/IP, Oracle DB and SQL-
- Experienced with Linux-
- Shellscript Linux scripting, Kubernetes and AWS cloud setup, OpenSSL, etc-
- Have experience develop and maintain API documentation, including code samples and usage guidelines-
- Critical thinker and possess good problem-solving skillsIt would be great if you are...- Working in library information technology industry-
- Have experienced working in project management in the IT industry-
- Have experienced working directly with customersWhat will you be doing in this role?- Serve as a first line of technical Customer Support-
- Provide emergency response support (in Site Down/Critical situations)-
- Perform product configuration based on customer requirements including attending to customer service request-
- Change or fine-tune System related parameters-
- Perform problem analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures to prevent recurrence.-
- Provide technical solutions to customers.-
- Interact with internal departments such as developer team to provide seamless solutions-
- Provide online and/or on-site assistance and training to customers-
- Participate in UAT testing activities.About the Team
