Childcare Principal

Key Responsibilities

Operations:

- To oversee the overall operation of the Centre and report to the Directors
- To hold weekly meetings with the directors and staff
- Maintaining of centre according to licensing criteria on a daily basis.
- Manages, directs, and maintains records on the materials, supplies and equipment which are necessary to carry out the daily school routine.

Curriculum:

- To conduct curriculum meetings every month
- To vet event / field trips / or any other proposals before submitting to the Director for approval
- Checking of teachers’ lesson plans and evaluations on a weekly basis, termly checks of all students’ files, activity sheets and workbooks as well as conducting annual lesson observations of teachers.

Human Resource:

- Planning the roadmap of staff according to ECDA skills framework
- Conducting appraisal of staff three times a year
- Provides activities which facilitate the professional growth of the centre staff and enhance the quality of the instructional program.
- To key in new staffs records, ensuring that the documents, forms and medical have been fulfilled.

Enrolment:

- To conduct school tour and introduce new parents to the school and see through the enrolment process.
- To build and maintain enrolment of the school to its maximum capacity as much as possible.

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $5,500.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus
