**JOB SUMMARY**

The Quantitative Research Intern is responsible for testing existing LLM and other NLP models to build sentiment scores for equity return forecasts.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Process and prepare textual and return data for model training.
- Research and compare various NLP models.
- Writing codes to test the NLP models.
- Writing codes to train deep learning models.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Strong academic credentials in related major, e.g., Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance.
- Solid understanding of applied statistics, including distributions, regression, and statistical testing
- Strong programming skills. R, Python, and SQL.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and experience implementing machine learning algorithms in production is an advantage.
