Maintains and general repairs of the facility’s structure, furniture & Fittings, equipment and office grounds, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC.

Performs skilled trades work, such as carpentry or touch-up painting in constructing, repairing or altering structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. Works with manufacturing or process engineering in installing or repairing building plumbing and wiring required in the production process.

Makes periodic or special inspections of the premise to determine repair work necessary. Works from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches and translates requirements to vendors/contractors to maintain the day-to-day operations of office facilities and related matters. Ensures all WHSE requirements are met eg. fire extinguishers, facility safety features, etc. And Liaison with external contractors and vendors to get maintenance works done.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various systems and components such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other building-related tasks.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and potential issues. Provide recommendations for repairs or improvements.
- Respond to maintenance requests.
- Regularly inspect and maintain building systems, equipment, and facilities, following preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Set up and install new equipment, fixtures, furniture, or appliances as required. Ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
- Diagnose and resolve problems with electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, doors and windows, locks, and other building components. Repair or replace faulty parts or equipment as needed.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Coordinate with appropriate personnel to procure necessary items within budgetary constraints.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing maintenance tasks. Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
