**About the role**
Our Singapore Studio is seeking for a BIM Lead / Coordinator, who is well-versed in Revit, to meet the ever-growing demand.
The BIM Lead / Coordinator is mainly responsible for managing overall/project BIM implementation on a given project, through Concept Design to Detail Design phases. Thereafter, liaise with the design team and establish a BIM workflow across multi-design platform namely Revit, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD & SketchUp. The BIM Lead / Coordinator will act as a design discipline to gear up the team with BIM capacity and ensure BIM protocol compliance throughout the project phases.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Produce full architectural and interior design documentation through BIM and Revit under design lead’s supervision.
- Assist with project establishment and preparation of project plan.
- Facilitate the quality assurance review and design technology review of project.
- Monitor and mitigate project risks and escalate where necessary.
- Maintain an awareness of all matters relevant to the design and production of the project.
**I.** **BIM Assessment**
- Client/Project Manager BIM submission assessment
- BIM Internal Training and skill assessment
- Design and cross platform assessment
- Regular coordination with Global Innovation and Technology Team
**II.** **BIM Establishment**
- Design Workflow with BIM Platform (Revit, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD & SketchUp)
- BIM Execution Plan
- BIM platform and BIM Standard
- LOD and Responsibility Matric per project phase
- Common Data Environment Setup
- BIM Naming convention/protocol
- Software specific modelling protocols to achieve desired BIM goals
- Common Data Environment (CDE) Management and Setup
- BIM Management according to standard(s)
- Model/Data Exchange method according to BIM Execution Plan
- BIM Issues Tracking and problem solving
- Kick-off BIM/Design related meeting
- BIM software and standard training for Local studio
- Deliver 2D/3D and multi-disciplinary drawings including schedule by Revit, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD & SketchUp
- Create parametric component (Revit Family etc.)
**III.** **BIM Coordination**
- Collaborate with Design team
- Facilitate and chair regular BIM Coordination Meeting
- BIM Audit to ensure compliance with agreed protocol
- Perform clash detection and report
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years post-graduate (or equivalent) in architectural and interior projects, specializing in the use of BIM (Revit, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD & SketchUp).
- Exceptional software skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Photoshop & InDesign, using on large-scale local and/or Southeast Asia workplace & retail projects.
- Understanding different needs of the delivery team (architects, engineers, estimators & contractors). The BIM Lead / Coordinator will work with the entire project team in setting up the project structure and data exchange formats.
- Strong understanding of architectural documentation process and technical capabilities, with design capabilities will be an advantage.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English
- Superior communication skills to work with internal and external clients.
- Able to prioritise duties and work effectively under pressure while remaining calm and professional.
- This is a fixed-term contract role for a period of approximately 6-12 months. Potential opportunity to permanent position should the studio’s project pipeline permit.
