**Production Planner (Tuas)
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish the capacity planning process (monthly, weekly and daily production plan) for the company by converting demand (sales forecast) into a feasible production plan
- Identify, negotiate and drive resolution of any conflicts with different departments related to material availability, capacity and order promise integrity.
- Maintains SAP work order release schedule that provides material on-time to manufacturing
- Reviews MRP execution and ensures accuracy of information; reconciles supply and demand
- Prepare report on the performance of production and highlight issues and bottlenecks that may potentially impact the achievement of the production schedule and customer satisfaction.
- Document planning/scheduling guidelines and processes and support the analysis, development and implementation of new planning best practices
- Works closely with Sales/CS, Purchasing and Warehouse/Logistics departments to update demand forecast and ensure on-time ordering, receipt, delivery of raw materials and finished goods shipments.
- Monitors production progress against scheduling needs and intervenes as necessary to bring deliveries back into compliance with production schedules
- Monthly reconciliation for all stock balances and rectify any inventory discrepancies after an investigation
Job Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant studies
- At least 1-2 years of experience in demand management, supply management, manufacturing planning, supply chain planning and execution will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with expertise in Excel and SAP ERP
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff
- Basic inventory management and warehousing operations knowledge
