**Senior Manager, Programmes **:6 Months Contract

SAM is committed to making contemporary art accessible and inspiring for everyone. We are currently seeking to fill a 6 month contract for the role of Senior Manager, Programmes. The role will support the Education, Access and Programmes team in the delivery of immersive and inclusive experiences.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Curate engaging programmes that can reach a broad range of audiences, including youth, children, families, seniors, and community groups-
- Continued commitment to public programmes and building partnerships-
- Manage budgets, and supervise staff, interns and/or volunteers-
- Ongoing development of inclusive content for SAM for online and onsite audiences, including administrative support-
- Work with external and internal stakeholders (eg. curatorial, marketing and partnerships) to afford access and develop learning opportunities for the appreciation of contemporary art-
- Support marketing and audience development activity for Education, Access & Programmes-
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 8 years of experience in the museum, arts and heritage sector or equivalent-
- Experience designing and coordinating programmes, in particular programs for a range of audiences-
- Degree in Museum Studies or a related qualification-
- Excellent project management skills-
- Excellent record of stakeholder management-
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written communication skills-
- Effective time management and organisational skills, and the ability to exercise initiative-
- A good level of computer literacy with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office**DESIRABLE CRITERIA**:
