We are looking for a passionate and experienced Information Security Analyst

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Collaborates with users to discuss computer data access needs, to identify security threats and violations, and to identify and recommend needed programming or process changes.
- Develops and implements plans to safeguard digital data from accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure; adheres to emergency data processing needs.
- Reviews violations of security procedures; provides training to ensure violations do not recur.
- Monitors and restricts access to sensitive, confidential, or other high-security data.
- Performs risk assessments, audits, and tests to ensure proper functioning of data processing activities and security measures.
- Safeguards system security and improves overall server and network efficiency by training users and promoting security awareness.
- Determines when to update virus protection systems by monitoring current reports of computer viruses; facilitates or performs needed updates.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Monitor networks for security breaches
- Investigate security incidents
- Use security software like firewalls and encryption
- Check for vulnerabilities in systems
- Research new security trends
- Develop security standards and best practices
- Recommend security enhancements
- Help users learn about security products and procedures
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration tests
- Analyze network traffic and system alerts
- Develop recommendations and training programs
- Plan for disaster recovery and create contingency plans
- Monitor for attacks and intrusions
- Test and evaluate security products
- Design new security systems
- Monitor identity and access management

**Skills**:

- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Thorough understanding of computer-related security systems including firewalls, encryption, and password protection and authentication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with MAC and OS
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Programming, or a related field required;
- At least Five years of experience in computer systems with some specialization in computer security highly preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- CompTIA Security+
- COBIT 5 Certifications
- CRISC
- CGEIT
