Distribution Warehouse Supervisor

Overview:
The incumbent is to supervise a team of Material Handlers and/or Warehouse Associates performing various functions in the Distribution Centre that ships products to end user customers. The activities involve in receiving incoming shipments from Bio-Rad manufacturing sites and vendors, stocking, picking, packing and shipping products and inventory management.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**:

- Ensure consistent quality of service in accordance with service level agreements.
- Manage efficient supply chain for both inbound and outbound logistics planning in conjunction with warehouse operations.
- Manage the interfaces with stakeholders in EMEA, NA and APAC.
- Manage the Conveyor and AMR automation for productivity improvement.
- Maintain performance statistics and ensure accurate record keeping of all operational documents related to Warehouse Operation.
- Manage and oversee administrative functions to ensure all paperwork is processed efficiently and in a timely manner and meets all compliance requirements in the exporting country.
- Ensure that freight is moved safely and in a timely manner utilizing appropriate forecasting methods.
- Manage the TMS Operation on day-to-day basis.
- Subject Matter Expert for EWM and WM.
- Tracking/tracing of consignments.
- Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse function to meet departmental objectives.
- Ensure performance levels for delivery of products are maintained at the highest level.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Lead Lean Project to improve Operation productivity and cost.
- Ensure that Customer orders are picked and packed promptly and accurately, in proper shipping condition, within nominated timeframe.
- Ensure all consignments are picked up by the transport company at designated time.
- Lead, coach, train and mentor direct reports and provide career development opportunities through training and quality management activities.
- Ensure maximization of cost effectiveness with selected service providers. Ensure deliveries achieve set KPI which contributes to the OTIF target.
- Prepare and analyze management and financial reports, budgets, expense reports and department forecasts.

**What You Bring**:

- Degree in Business or Supply Chain/Logistics Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics/supply chain management.
- Five or more years of experience in supervisory role and proven experience in managing a complex Logistics Operation.
- Knowledge on SAP ERP, WM and EWM, MS 365, Power BI and Smartsheet.
- Possess Hazardous Substances Certification (IATA Dangerous Good Regulation).
- Experience in Workplace Occupational Health & Safety (Good Distribution Practice).
- Knowledge in Lean & Six Sigma
- Proven knowledge and experience in customer service.
- Knowledge of shipping and transport.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
