We are looking for a Procurement Category Manager to join a leading Shipowner and play a crucial role in enhancing procurement strategies while optimizing third-party spending. This position is vital in developing and implementing best procurement practices within the Logistics category.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Create and update the logistics strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to track and evaluate category performance in alignment with global procurement standards.
- Identify and implement enhancements within the procurement-to-pay (P2P) framework.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and outcomes with suppliers.
- Oversee strategic sourcing and ensure cost alignment with operational requirements.
- Perform data and cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and set key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Foster strong partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders, while managing procurement risks.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to implement and execute key procurement initiatives.
- Maintain safety standards in all procurement activities to ensure compliance with regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics management within the maritime industry.
- Familiarity with logistics categories related to liner shipping, such as container leasing, port and terminal operations, and others, is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in the development and execution of procurement category strategies.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with digital procurement tools is an advantage.
