- Do you want to be part of a dynamic, growing organization dedicated to providing first-class solutions in the marine industry? Svanehøj is looking for a passionate Business Controller to strengthen our Group Controlling team.**What do we offer you?**
Within monitoring business performance your primary responsibilities will include maintaining internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets, as well as actual expenditures. Additionally, in close collaboration with our Group CFO and Head of Group Controlling, you will establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a regular basis, including biweekly, monthly, and annually, while acting as a business advisor for the management team in Svanehoj Singapore.

You will be responsible for implementing and safeguarding consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, while adhering to international and local legal standards and staying updated on proposed legislation. Furthermore, you will develop and enforce internal controls to maximize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows. Monthly consolidation and reporting of Svanehøj’s financial performance will be an important task as well.

**Who are you?**
We are seeking a Business Controller with strong skills in managing complex datasets and delivering actionable financial insights. In this role, you will be bridging management and operations, ensuring clear communication of financial data and aligning strategic goals with operational performance.

You should have a solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles, as well as the capability to work independently and in teams. It's important that you are structured in your work and pay keen attention to details.

To be considered for the position as a Business Controller, you have:

- a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field.
- +3 years of experience in a financial role, ideally in a controller or senior financial analyst position.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance management.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or others is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in international business or multi-site operations can be beneficial.

Furthermore, you are fluent in English both written and spoken.
