**The Opportunity**
NS BlueScope invests in technology and people, the Regional Data & Analytics Manager will manage and run end to end data & analytics solutions development and delivery & operation.

This is a great opportunity for a data and analytics professional to make a big impact in this emerging area. We want someone to build and sustain a robust and leading-edge data and analytics platform and to work closely with the business to enable timely/accurate analytics and business insights from all internal/external data available.

This role is based in Singapore but will manage a South East Asia remit with a current team of 4 Business Intelligence Architects and Data Analytics Specialists.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Maintain a robust and efficient data & analytics operation where all data/analytics/reports solutions are delivered accurately, timely and cost effectively. Drive continuous improvement and address key gaps and pain points to meet business needs
- Engage business to understand current and future strategy and needs, and proactively deliver appropriate data & analytics solutions to enable timely business insights needed
- Plan and build advanced data & analytics capability (cloud platform, ML/AI, data science, etc) and identify/deliver use cases with tangible business value to significantly enhance business insights from all data available
- Build a strong, competent and motivated team. Transform data/analytics capabilities from delivering report mainly to pioneering advanced data & analytics technology and enabling key business insights for timely business decision making

**What you will do**
- Deliver a robust and efficient data & analytics operation where all data/analytics/reports solutions are delivered accurately, timely and cost effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement and address key gaps and pain points to meet business needs.
- Simplify and improve data modelling and mapping from legacy approach to have robust data flow and single source of truth.
- Strong engagement with the business to understand current and future strategy and needs, and proactively deliver appropriate data & analytics solutions to enable timely business insights needed.
- Plan and build advanced data & analytics capability (cloud platform, ML/AI, data science, etc) and identify/deliver use cases with tangible business value to significantly enhance business insights from all data available.
- Build a strong, competent and motivated team and transform data/analytics capabilities from delivering report mainly to pioneering advanced data & analytics technology and enabling key business insights for timely business decision making

**What you will need**
- Strong data and advanced analytics capabilities and experience
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement with proven results in high business satisfaction with data and analytics operation and solutions delivery
- You will be regarded as a trusted advisor, key influencer and business contributor
- BS/MS in Computer Science or Information Systems with 10+ years of relevant experience in data & analytics
- Experience with data & analytics operation, solutioning and implementations
- Knowledge of data & analytics architecture, platforms as well as industry and technology solution trends
- Experience in people management, organization transformation and delivery of data & analytics solutions with regional multi-national scope
- Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential

**Technical Competencies**
- Knowledge of data architecture, data models and relationship among data elements
- Knowledge of complete stack of data & analytics solution from data acquisition, ingestion to publishing and visualization
- Knowledge of advanced analytics technology/platform, e.g., ML/AI, data science
