Reporting to the Head QSSE, APAC, the Marine Investigator (Specialist) primary role will be required to provide technical assistance to internal stakeholders, reviewing of analysis report, conducting analysis, involved in marine incident investigation, managing of reports and ensure all investigations comply with organization policies & relevant maritime regulations.
**Responsibilities**:
Technical analysis on vessel structure, equipment, and procedure to support marine incident investigation.
Analyzing trends to recommend structural and process enhancement
Support Marine Incident Investigation process including evidence collection, causal and root cause analysis, and prevention recommendation.
Maintain log for investigations, and projects in progress. Ensuring key dates and targets are adhered and on track
Filing, implementation and administration of SSE processes and related database and documentation
Part of the core team in Business Continuity Plan (Singapore Office) development and management support drills planning and implementation
**Requirements**:
Diploma or Degree from accredited education institution, with specialization in Naval Architecture or Oceaneering
3 to 5 years of experience in the Ship building industry
Well versed with various Maritime regulations such as ISM code, IMO regulations and others
Excellent verbal and written English
