Community & Partnership Development Assistant

Singapore THE PRIVATE MUSEUM LTD. Full time

This position reports to the Museum Associate Director and the Museum Fundraising committee and will look after the fundraising, community development, partnership development and venue hire aspects for The Private Museum, which is a registered charity and non-profit organisation. This will include the fundraising strategies, planning and execution of fundraising events, pitching to donors/sponsors, donor engagement, preparation of marketing materials, partnership development strategies, venue hire rental and execution etc.

1. To conduct and present research on fundraising opportunities and assist in organising fundraising campaigns.

2. To assist in sourcing and liaising with external vendors, donors, sponsors, and institutions with grants.

3. To brainstorm ways to raise awareness and assist with implementing marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and community engagement strategies.

4. To assist Museum Directors in pitches to secure funding.

5. To assist with planning and organising museum events (e.g. opening receptions, talks, gala, workshops etc ) and network with key stakeholders.

6. To assist in design, marketing and publication relations (social media channels, press release dissemination, content creation, etc.).

7. To assist in reports on fundraising activities and progress.

8. To maintain the Museum Donor Masterlist and keep the information up-to-date.

9. To come up with community development and partnership development strategies, and execute events relating to these
