**Risk and Performance Management Department**

The Risk and Performance Management Department is responsible for the independent assessment, measurement, monitoring and reporting of GIC’s market, credit and operational risk profiles.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and technically competent individual who has an interest in risk management, systems and methodologies. You will be a member of the **Risk Infrastructure** team to provide risk management and measurement support to the organisation.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with end-users (e.g., risk managers, risk analysts) and the technology group to implement new performance and risk measurement systems or enhancements to existing systems
- Work with data and technology groups to improve corporate-wide data models and implement data storage and publishing solutions for risk and performance analytics
- Participate in the end-to-end workflow of the performance and risk measurement systems, from batch preparation work and data checks to reconciliations and publishing of results
- Maintain and improve system and data validation tools and reports to ensure good data quality and efficient operations
- Evaluate the impact of upstream data changes or new business initiatives (such as new product requests) on existing systems and processes
- Engage internal and external data providers to resolve data quality and coverage issues impacting existing systems

**Requirements**:

- A good Degree in Banking & Finance, Engineering or related fields of study
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the finance industry
- Basic understanding of financial products (including derivatives), market data and performance or risk analytics
- Good working knowledge of database and data models
- Experience in working with performance, risk or valuation systems, either in the form of project implementation, operation or reporting
- Strong technical skills such as Microsoft Office suite, data visualisation and analytics tools, SQL or other programming languages
- Able to work independently under pressure
- Good team player who possesses drive and initiative to be able to work with mínimal supervision
