The Corporate Development department at Ninja Van plans and executes all fundraising initiatives and related strategic capability development projects such as IPO Readiness, Capital structure optimization, M&A, etc.

The Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting the execution of equity and debt raising, market and competitive research, investor management, and capital deployment projects. Led by the VP of Corp Dev, the Senior Associate will develop and maintain collaterals such as pitch decks, business updates, financial models, and industry analyses that impact the success of the company’s fundraising initiatives and related projects.

The Senior Associate will assist in executing capability development and other ad-hoc cross-functional projects taken on by the Corporate Development team to build functions, processes, and capabilities within the organization that are reflective of the company’s size, complexity, and growth trajectory.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in the execution of all fundraising projects and activities
- Coordinating cross-functional capability development projects with responsibility over key timelines and deliverables
- Facilitating communications between all stakeholders, both internal and external
- Maintaining the company’s long-term forecasts and comparing them against actual business performance, working closely with the FP&A and Country Management teams
- Generating insightful and reliable cash flow forecasts and intercompany funding proposals in close collaboration with country finance teams
- Providing analytical support for capex, capital structure, and other projects as required
- Developing and maintaining high-quality, accurate, and succinct materials for investors
- Coordinating the company’s responses to investor queries and information requests
- Triangulating data points through primary and secondary research to develop a house view of the competitive and industry landscape to pre-emptively identify threats and opportunities
- Identifying potential partners and targets that have synergistic potential with the company’s service offerings and strategy

**Requirements**:

- 2-4 years experience in Management or Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Big 4 Advisory, or other Corporate Finance/Strategy roles would be preferred.
- Prior experience working with/in pre-IPO tech companies would be a strong advantage
- Any quantitative degree from a reputable university
- Demonstrable familiarity and/or interest in the fundraising process and strong project management, financial modelling and valuation, financial statement analysis, due diligence, data analysis and visualization skillsets
- Ability to work collaboratively and win influence at all levels with multi-cultural business partners and stakeholders from different countries and various backgrounds
- Possession of analytical rigor and a structured thought process that can be clearly articulated to both internal and external audiences
