Bring on your planning hat and act as the guardian of inventory management across the wide inventory network in APAC CN.

**Core Responsibilities**:
Within SIP:

- Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
- Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical planning, inventory control and safety stocks deployment.
- Seek to understand S&OP direction and ensure these are actualize into planning output.
- Monitor and drive performance metrics for measurement such as stock turn, service measurements.
- Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.

Beyond SIP:

- Confer with regional and BU to scrutinize forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
- Support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas.
- Work with regional DM as partners to review forecasts trending to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.

Asia Pacific (APAC) Supply and Inventory Planning (SIP) is responsible for planning. LEGO Finished Goods from supply production to inventory flow that delivers optimal finished goods inventory levels to deliver acceptable customer service level and manufacturing stability based on the forecasted demand signal.

It currently operates the flow planning of 10 local Distribution Center's (DC's) in APAC (Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore) and the APAC regional DC in Shanghai where the source supply goes to. The team work closely with the production sources based out in Europe and China.

The SIP team is part of the APAC Supply Chain Operation team. The APAC SIP team has responsibility to drive optimal inventory level with focus on keeping the inventory cost down yet meeting the availability level expected in the markets. This is measured with defined Operation KPIs to ensure we operate in the optimal range. Our key stakeholders are the customers we serve in the different markets, ensuring we have availability of the right products, at the right quality, quantity, and on-time. The team works closely with Demand Management in within APAC SCO and direct with markets in ensuring the supply plan meets the demand plan both in the planning horizon and execution.

**Do you have what it takes?**:

- At least 5 years supply chain planning experience including driving supply chain continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in inventory planning across a multi-tier network
- Strong academic credentials with demonstrated ability to excel in a collaborative environment
- Data presentation and analysis using data analytic tools like excel/Power BI or Tableu.
- Strategic thinking / Strategic Influencing
- Links improvement on day-to-day tasks.
- Concern for impact
- Takes action to have an intended or desired effect on others/ Risk mitigation and opportunity sensing.
- Results orientation
