Assistant Butcher

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for defrosting, cleaning, grinding, and cutting all protein items in accordance with standardized procedures and corporate specifications
- Follow thawing and defrosting schedules/procedures according to company regulations.
- Basic Sanitation Skills.
- Basic mathematical skills and calculations.
- Practice economical work practices and avoid any wastage.
- Assist the Head Butcher during storing.
- Responsible for the portioning of all meats and other duties assigned by the Head Butcher.
- Assist the Head Butcher with inventory-taking for all raw meat products.
- Responsible for delivering products of the highest quality in terms of freshness, taste, and consistency
- Responsible for following all standardized procedures, safety regulations, and notifying the Head Butcher of any shortages or discrepancies in products or ingredients
- Responsible for keeping their immediate work area clean at all times
- Check and record the balance of the stock
- Other ad-hoc duties as determined by superior
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Willing to work in a Non-Halal workplace
- 1-2 years’ experience
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety
**OTHER INFORMATION**:

- Monday - Friday (7am-4pm)
- Saturday (7-11am)
- Part-timers are also welcome (SGD10-12 per hour)
- Salary package will base on experience

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $2,500.00 per month
