**What You Will Bring to Our Learning Community**
- **Academic Excellence in English Education**:
Demonstrating brilliant knowledge and manner of instruction of IBDP English A: Language and Literature, English B, and IGCSE First Language English, as well as delivering challenging, thought-provoking, and engaging lessons that meet and exceed curriculum standards. Your expertise will motivate students to think critically, communicate effectively, and appreciate the depth and diversity of the English language.
- **Curriculum Leadership and Innovation**:
Playing a vital role in **curriculum planning**, ensuring alignment with IBO and Cambridge frameworks while integrating creative learning strategies. Your ability to design cohesive units of learning will support students across a range of abilities and learning styles.
- **Excellence in Delivery**:
You present yourself as an energetic and articulate educator who thrives in the classroom by bringing a delivery style that is student-centred and incorporates a wide range of pedagogical tools, including discussion, analysis, media, and interactive tasks, to ensure high levels of engagement and achievement.
- **Assessment for Learning**:
You display the ability to design and implement formative and summative **assessments**that are rigorous, fair, and aligned with the respective curriculum standards, as well as provide timely, constructive feedback that is focused on student growth.
- **Experience with the International Baccalaureate**:
We consider **a**minimum of one year of teaching experience in IBDP English**, with a clear understanding of its standards, assessment criteria, and global outlook. Additionally, experience with English B and IGCSE English is highly preferable.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in English, English Literature, or a related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- **Minimum of one year**of teaching experience in **IBDP English A**.
- Experience with **IGCSE**and **English B**teaching preferred.
