Our client is a leading American brand name in the field of consumer electronics, with more than 100 years in existence and more than 2,000 employees globally. We are representing the Singapore Research & Development (R&D) team to hire for their new headcount for the Advanced Development team in Singapore.

**Advanced Development - Staff / Lead Engineer, Power Electronics**

**(Electronics - Battery Management System / Motor Drives)**

You will be part of an Advanced Development team in Singapore working on proof of concept projects as well as working closely with technology suppliers and parts suppliers on incorporating new technology into company's next generation of products.
- Power Electronics Circuits Design, Analysis, Simulation and PCB Implementation
- Power semiconductor devices such as MOSFET, BJT, Op-Amps, MOSFET Drivers, fuses and diodes.
- Circuit simulation and analysis (e.g. LTSpice, SPICE, Matlab Simulink etc)
- Thermal management for electronics designs with high current.
- Schematic and PCB design tools (e.g. Altium, Mentor Graphic etc)
- EMC/EMI compliance for Product Design
- Battery Management Systems (BMS)
- Motor Drive Systems (BLDC and/or PMDC and/or AC)
- Power Electronics Conversion AC-DC and DC-DC
- Battery CV/CC Charger Systems
- Intelligent Charger Systems, e.g. QC and USB-PD

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- PhD / Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering with at least 10-15 years' experience in Power Electronics.
