**Job Summary**:
The purpose of the role is to support strategic pricing initiatives in the Greater Asia Region as part of the regional Pricing Excellence program to help promote profitable growth throughout the whole product portfolio by driving improvements in related processes, supporting systems and organisational capabilities.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Support regional Pricing roadmap and deliver on the key actionable for Pricing Excellence in GA. including definition of Pricing project portfolio at regional and country level
- Partner with Platform, Regional and Country Marketing and HEOR to develop Optimised Pricing strategies for all new product launches.
- Drive regional deployment of end-to-end Pricing technologies and Analytics system (e.g., Vendavo, Oracle CPQ etc.) including value realization exercise by country and business unit
- Be the Pricing Expert for the GA region and represent region on all business and corporate pricing initiatives
- Develop influencing relationships with stake holders across the business to ensure optimal pricing strategies are adopted
- Monitor local adherence to agreed pricing strategies for all product lines
- Play key role in Greater Asia Pricing Steering Committee and monthly reviews with key internal stakeholders to review pricing performance and generate action plans.
- Deliver training within Greater Asia Region to strengthen Strategic Pricing and Tendering capabilities
- Own and manage pricing analysis for the region, defining the key metrics and delivering required reporting to all key stakeholders
- Establish and release regular cadence, conduct monthly reviews with key internal stakeholders to review pricing performance and generate action plans. Monitor local adherence to agreed pricing strategies for all product lines
- Drive efficiencies through data automation, reporting and reconciliation by reducing coordination/ consolidation efforts of the regional & country teams allowing them to focus on pricing activities
- Build framework to gather competitive pricing intelligence across region

**Job Requirements**

Qualifications / Personal Traits:

- Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or related field of study.
- At least 7 - 10 years in Pricing related experience, preferably within Marketing, Consulting, Commercial or Finance. (specific experience of running strategic pricing programs ideal)
- Strong analytical and data management skills, and experience in statistical techniques.
- Highly proficient in use of standard MS Office. (especially Excel and Access)
- Experience of implementing and / or using revenue management software to analyze and set Price.
- Experience and / or ability to work and navigate in a matrix environment.
- Process driven with focus on delivery of results.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex situations.
- Ability to engage and influence at different levels of an organization - senior to tactical managers.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strategic agility to contribute to the regional long-term vision and strategy.
- Previous work experience in strategic pricing role in a Medical Devices/Consulting/ Healthcare company coupled with deep exposure to marketing and business-related issues in the same industries.
- Experience of implementing Pricing technologies and Analytical solutions would be preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate complex ideas and use networks to acquire relevant information.
- Good written and verbal communications skills including creating executive presentations.
- Well-developed analytical skills including business economics, accounting and financial modeling.
- Ability to plan, organize, monitor and execute complex projects.
- Understanding of the use of market research for pricing.
- Ability to identify improvements to existing processes
