We are looking for a passionate and experienced **Head Chef**to lead and support our kitchen operations. As Head Chef, you will play a crucial role in daily kitchen management, food preparation, team coordination, and continuous improvement in kitchen efficiency and output.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and support the Sous Chef and kitchen team with daily operational tasks.
- Provide hands-on guidance in food preparation, line cooking, and dish presentation.
- Oversee inventory levels, kitchen stock organization, and ingredient management.
- Ensure all cooking stations are well-stocked and prepared for service, especially during peak hours.
- Monitor food and product ordering, minimize waste, and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation in line with restaurant standards.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to enhance kitchen organization, staff capabilities, and training programs.
- Ensure food storage units are properly managed and meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Work closely with the restaurant management team on budget control, supply ordering, and staffing needs.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **5 years of experience**in a Head Chef or equivalent kitchen leadership role.
- Valid **Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene**certification.
- Strong culinary knowledge across a range of cuisines and cooking techniques.
- Excellent **organizational and problem-solving**skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to lead by example, inspire kitchen staff, and maintain a positive team environment.
- Willingness to work **shift hours**, including **Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays**.
