As a Spare Parts Executive/ Engineer, you will be tasked to oversee inventory control under our Engineering Department. You will work closely with various Engineering and production team to ensure smooth day to day operations for manufacturing plant.

In this role, a typical day will include:

- Tracking of spares and consumables inventory min/max level and ordering to ensure availability to support operation
- Follow up on parts delivery, GR and invoices
- Plan and perform scheduled stock count to maintain inventory accuracy
- Tracking of monthly spending in system
- Maintain and sustain good housekeeping standards and practices
- Compliance to quality and HSE requirements
- Cost saving initiatives and continuous improvement plans i.e. Localization of parts and repairs, etc.
- Work with engineers (Engineer& production) new and obsoleted parts procurement

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

- NITEC/ Diploma in Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant inventory control experience in manufacturing/ production setting
- Experience in using SAP/ Maximo is highly advantageous but not a must
- Office hours
- Comfortable to work at Tuas south (company transport provided at Outram Park/ Kranji/ Boon Lay MRT)
